About

“You wonder why I don’t fit in?
I wonder why you don’t stand out.”

This is the motto David Orman, co-creator of Ordinary Buddha,  has lived by.

As a  Natural Medicine Expert. . . . he created the best selling formula, Doc Wellness Formula had the largest practice in S. Florida and a highly successful radio and TV show. He has helped thousands of people alleviate their pain and suffering and then achieve their ideal health.

As a  Lecturer and Teacher. . . he has spoken to Congress, taught at major colleges and universities and designed his own, unique method of presenting information which allows the listener the opportunity to find a better version of themselves.

As a Writer, he has published literally 1000’s of professional articles (published in professional journals, popular magazines and elsewhere) along with 2 books. Readers have responded with heartwarming letters, based on his stories. Nearly 20,000 people follow his Doc Wellness writings on Twitter and thousands more on other social networks.

As a Martial Artist, he holds 3 black belts and started the first Systema (Russian) martial arts school in Orlando – CFL Systema. In a short time, it has become one of the most popular on the East Coast. It is his opportunity to teacher life lessons via the martial arts.

As an Athlete, has taken on marathons, 100 mile cycling events, baseball, aikido, karate and fencing. By participating in these events, he learned many of the keys to a happy and abundant life and has passed along these deep-meaning lessons. He is a participant in life, not an observer.

As an Entrepreneur, has been running a successful Internet business for over 14 years. Has set the example for success for many to follow.  David is committed to being  part of the 10% of achievers who live life by the Code which reflects honor, gratitude, adventure and assisting others.

As an Artist, he has written Haiku (poetry), drawn Sumi-e (drawings) and studies Shodo (Japanese calligraphy). If you are doing something artistic and not physical, you are only living half a life. If you are doing something physical and not artistic, you are only living half a life. It is the balance of the 2 that allows for completeness.

As a Person, has been living a unique life, filled with creativity, zest,  adventure, activity, gratitude and purpose for 49 years to date.

As the co-creator of Ordinary Buddha,David has a strong desire to help others find the Special in the Ordinary.

Welcome to my world.

Thanks for being a part of it. Thanks for helping it grow!
